How to remove Acid strains from my cars roof?

Yesterday, my neighbors children threw Acid on my car. I am unable to remove it. Please advice

Im afraid if these get removed at all. If acid has eaten through the paint, then its a massive problem bro. Anyways, compound is your only hope for now.

@fastian04 sir i am still not able able to understand what the hell were children doing with a bottle of concentrated Acid. Just Imagine what that acid can do to the kids when it has done this to the car.

Ask your neighbour to get this corrected, it is his fault not your. he should pay for it.

Well... I don't think it's acid, especially concentrated one. To me, it seems like Pepsi, Coca Cola, or any similar soft drink (but it needs to be confirmed). These carbonated Soft drinks also contain phosphoric acid, and it can be dangerous for paint.

@ayaz.mehmood56 , bro can you confirm that it was for sure acid? If Yes, then how can you confirm it?

What an acid (may be battery acid) do to the car paint? May be, I will share through some pics and based on my own, personal experience.

@basitali87 its confirmed. It was acid, children told their parents that we threw this bottle (acid used in toilets). Moreover there was another boy playing in street at the same time, his jeans got holes as some of the acid splashed on his jeans.

I have contacted painters and they said its not going to remove from compound but its going to get lighter from 100 to 50 percent .

definitely the clear coat is now gone and the base has faded, chemical reaction!! you should be yelling at your neighbors now! this is a costly job.....

If the acid already etched the paint, there's nothing you can do but to re-paint your car.
