How to reinstall oem emblems

AOA everyone
I have a black city on which I basically did a murdered out theme
And now that i am planning to sell the car i want to install the oem chrome emblems “city” “ivtec”
Please guide the best way to install them back in proper fitting so that the buyer does not say “gari repair ha isi liye emblems hile ha”
The double tape provided in market is very cheap and does not have good stickiness
I believe 3m tape will be good but it will stick out from the edges if not properly cutted
What is any other option that I am left with?

The factory glue is made by 3m and maybe available at paint supply shops. Its a tiny black and red tube called emblem and trim adhesive.

Point to ponder, if your buyers are so petty that they will argue on emblems, i dont think they are actual buyers.

Aligning them n placing them properly should be top concern
Not double tape

The little residue from the previous black emblems is there
So aligning it is not an issue (the orignal oem residue)

The best way ive seen it done in aftermarket is first measuring from another car, exact location and spacing etc

Then the use of masking tape to hold the emblem as the person applies it to the body.

Why would I get a car which has had its emblems removed? Why were they removed? Was the car in a major accident that the trunk had to be replaced? Did it have to be repainted? Removing emblems makes the rear looks empty. There are too many City available for sale for anyone to waste time worrying about emblems.

You dont like it, you can choose other used cars - used cars are always unique and one of a kind because they are used cars.

Some people specifically say that they want a used japanese auction car but with surety that no one ever passed gas in it. - similar situation.

But tor badges and emblems - Pakistan takes the cake… you can see honda civic TRD AMG. And soon we will see GR too.
