Can anyone modify those old buy of 60s and 70s to the new vw beetle of 98 or onwards. if u did pl show the pictures or do yo know where can we do it and also how much it cost totally, the cost the old bug+ modification cost

theres only one person for this job
recently he made prado with his hand all metal sheet even bumpers but they look exact the same as fiber
workink on one foxie if the owner has started project
go check out his hand made cars

Yes, I'm sure you can. In Pakistan, anything is just about possible with the right contacts and the right $$.

But the question is...why? Why waste an innocent old Bug (especially '60s)? If you want a New Beetle, there are plenty already in Karachi and in other cities and not too expensive...

Best keep a classic a classic.

I really fail to understand why people refer to the Beetle as "Foxy/Foxie"?
I can understand BUG, V-DUB, but Foxie?

The two look roughly the same but are two very differant cars. One id fwd/ front engine and the other is rwd/rear engine. The new Beetle is just another car but the older one is a death trap that makes wonderful noises and could be considered the poor man's Porsche. In addition the older one floats so in theory you could cross small bodies of calm water by tying a rope to something and pull it across. The older VW's engine is based on one designed for German lighter than air aircraft built eighty years ago. It was so light that students would steal their teacher's VW by picking it up and carrying it up to the school roof.

you know "foxy" is a paki name refered to vw beetle.It has been use for 2 decades so you really cant be offended by this name.
