How to judge original and fake brake pads

Friends
I'm planning to change brake pads of my vehicle, Honda city. I went to market today and was astonished to see that the price was ranging from pkr 3000 to 6500. Interestingly, all the shopkeepers were claiming the brake pads are original and were ready to give in written that these are original and are same pads which are available at Honda centers.
My question is, if I prefer to buy brake pads from market, how would I know if they are original or copied?

I'm also asking about genuine pads, but not form Honda dealership rather to get from after market. After market Honda pads are being sold at 3000 to 6500 with assurance (in writing) that these pads are original. Although, I can't trust even in writing, but I'm curious to know how can anyone know if the said pad is genuine or copied?
