So today, after using Ufone and it's thaka hua 3G for sometime, I decided to get my SIM changed to Warid and use it's LTE. But right now I can't seem to enable Internet on my device even though I have set the APNs and everything.
The device is a Nexus 5(D820).
You guys might now say that it won't work with Warid's LTE because it doesn't have Band 3. Well, I have already done a mod on this device that adds Band 3 and makes it usable without any problems. (The Mod: [Radio] Enable LTE Band 3 and 8 on D820 and … | Google Nexus 5 | XDA Forums)
A Pakwheels User, @cycloid14 has been using Warid's LTE on his Nexus 5 with this mod as said in this thread: https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/technology/259387-there-anyway-use-warid-lte-nexus-5-model-d820
And basically even if the mod doesn't work, I should get 2G(EDGE) connectivity, but I can't seem to connect to that either. I can conclude by this that there's a problem somewhere else. How can I get internet working? On Ufone, I had to call 333 and ask them to enable GPRS services on my number to use 3G.
I'm completely new to Warid here, so please help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
