Honda Pridor & CD100 Customizations

As of new launch of Honda Pridor, it is good that Atlas Honda launched a new bike. As CD100 being the ancestor of the bike I would like to know if we can customize both bike with the parts of other.

I am mainly interested in customization of CD100 meter into newly launched Pridor. The reason for this is that I prefer fuel gauge meter in bike. I already own a CD100 bike 2007 model. Both bikes have a resemblance of meter shape and size as we can see in below pictures.

These may be easily replaced I think. But I want to know whether it is possible to add and integrate fuel gauge assembly and other necessary parts in tank of Pridor or not.? Also I want to know about all new parts of Pridor, is it possible to place Tapaas, Back light and the box above engine of Pridor on a CD100 bike.?

Please help me with it... I would like to buy Pridor but fuel gauge is important to me, and this is the reason that i do not want to buy CG125. If fuel gauge can not be integrated then can I customize CD100 bike with cosmetic changes of Pridor.?

nopes its not possible ...fuel tank has a float gauge installed inside the tank through which sensor display the level ... so replacing the meter won't do anything and u can't install the float gauge inside the tank, obviously ...

Also I want to know about all new parts of Pridor, is it possible to place Tapaas, Back light and the box above engine of Pridor on a CD100 bike.?

well that's not possible either, u cant find after market tank tapas of even cd100, let alone the pridor ... the best u can do is some mods like adding a cowling, alloy rims, sporty tyre ... and believe me it would look much better then pridor .. it just the same old bike with different shape of plastic parts ... hv u seen the tyres of pridor ?? they are begging for mercy ...

this is the reason that i do not want to buy CG125

if budget is not an issue then why don't u go for deluxe ...its a powerful bike with disc brake and fuel gauge ...

Fuel Gauge is an important feature but its not that important
that you convert your CD100 into Pridor 100
Which i guess won't be easily possible without some modifications
Its better you purchase Pridor 100, you may miss fuel gauge in intial period
but you will get use to it, keep switch @ "ON" position
bike reserves good amount of patrol in reserve so it won't betray you in middle of trip
Dhakaa waghera nahein dena parhega & other option yes if budget is not issue
You should go for 125 deluxe

yaar r1 it was very hard to find customization details in those threads of Pridor, because there were random posts about customization thing. Thats why I started this thread..

well installing float gauge might really be a tough task, but as they say only cosmetic changes have been made in CD100 to make it Pridor then why the parts are not installable on each other.? I was considering as if Pridor has same frame structure of CD100 and only cosmetic change then it must be possible to replace spares on each other.. Is it possible to install Tank of CD100 on Pridor and vice-verse.? If nothing such possible then why they modified CD100 to this one. Because if it is not possible and they will stop production of CD100 then how will they provide support to CD100 owners in future.?

And also I do not want to buy Deluxe for it is heavy for me. While CG125 and CD100 has a comparable weight. To be frank the weight of 70cc bike suites me best but they are little bikes and their height does not suites me. I am 6feet tall and 54kg weight.

Well I guess I should look for 2-3 months used CD100 and I can take advantage of saving money at this time... Am i right.? I think Pridor should have further decreased the resale of CD100...

I compared the placement of parts on both bikes, both the bikes have almost same placement, then this should be possible to replace parts i think;

yes buying used PRIDOR would be ofcourse wise choice
as in resale you will get less hurt
PRIDOR 100 would suit you, its looking good height bike & very good looks
and Yes correct you are too thin for deluxe :D

bro i was saying to buy used CD100 not Pridor. Used Pridor will not be available soon enough... And yes about Piaggio, I had spent a lot of time to think about purchasing it, but in the final choice i rejected it. One can pay this much amount of money but if there is quite good after sale services are provided. So no option for Piaggio.

congrats and welcome to pw bro...

yes its possible but a proper disc brake setup will also require whole front fork/shocks set of ur bike to be replaced with some used kawasaki/yamaha one... it will cost u around 22k... if u only go for disc brake in the current forks... ur shocks will worn out soon.. i would suggest u either buy a bike with built in disc brake or get some good leathers for ur pridor and replace the front stock tyre with some good tread design ... the braking will improve a lot... more than enough for 100cc...

You can install fuel gauge but you will need to buy cd100 fuel tank and meter both. you will spend almost 8000 for these two things, I also wanted to install fuel gauge but after spending time in market found no luck
