AoA. I bought a Fit Shuttle Hybrid a few days back. It is 2012 year. Mileage : 109,000 kms.The car gave me 485 Kms in 35 litres. A bit of hi octane mixed in it aswell. I changed oil & air filter after about 100 kms in this time. Oil I used Havoline 10W-40 (as the owner told me he was using this oil) & a local air filter (blue & yellow box - Rs. 450). Got the engine tuning, plugs cleaned & the cylinder (jaali) cleaned as well.
When tank was full, it was showing 20.5-21 km/L, but as the needle goes down, the average keeps coming down, sometimes to even 9 km/L. The average started declining before the oil change & works.
I was reading a few other threads and a lot of discussion was in codes like GP1, GP2, HIS etc which I couldnt understand and hence I'm posting myself.
Pls guide about the best oil, air filter & any other precautions or care etc that I need to do to make sure I get the best fuel consumption from this car.
This is the first time I am using a hybrid car, pls also guide about the best hybrid mechanic in Rawalpindi / Islamabad. Pls explain any codes if you do mention. TiA
