Greetings pakwheelers,
I will be sharing with you a project which was started few years back and at that moment i knew that this project would be the only done project here in Karachi or maybe in Pakistan because the bike i chose has been used in Pakistani market as a work horse "the bike that can carry all the load" and "you can ride the whole Karachi in 1 litre because yeh bike petrol soonghti hai". no one thinks to modify this bike due to its shape.
Khair, the idea came into my mind while surfing through pages on internet to do something different in terms of cars aor bike due to free time. so ghoomtey ghoomatey from Bobbers to cafe racers and then vintage bikes to the moded honda 70s of "shapanters" i finally landed on pinterest where the pictures of modified bikes were present. Pinterest contains loads and loads of images where u can surf for hours. ik k baad ik ideas..........and so on.
so, i got the plan in my mind and had find what i want to do and then the images on pinterest and videos heldped a lot in the buying decision of the bike. i started searching for dead bikes with proper papers so that later after modification it wont be a problem to drive or in selling. after days of searching on olx and thru friends i saw this bike right at the corner of the gali where i live.
i watched it for few days as it stands in poor condition with karachi registartion with no owner in sight. One day when i was coming from i saw the guy who sitting besides the bike, i thought why not try to ask him and surprisingly, the guy was the owner of the bike. i asked is he willing to sell, he was like "kya karogey iska, yeh to kabar hai'. He was a supplier of hardware goods and has taken out all the juice from the bike and now was using 70.
immediatley i ask him that i want to buy and how much he will sell. he said jo dena hai dedo :). can you belive it. i asked for the papers he said, i have got the file with all papers and bike in his name. the next day he showed me the file and i bought it then and there..........but guys dont ask how cheap i got the bike.
so without delay, i booked a rikshaw loaded the bike and sent it my mechanic where the real thing had to done. condition when it reached the mechanic.
and my mechnic was like "aur kuch nahee mila tha". so stay tuned guys. will post pics and details on daily basis to keep your interest intact.
