friends hope you all doing great .. so priviously ive sold my 8th gen to get 9th gen then 9th gen to get 10th gen .. after owning 8th gen 10th gen was a great car but sadly it was not offered in manual so sold it and again started hunting clean 8th gen which is a big task as most 8th gen civics ive come across are abused cosmetically but seller is not aware of it and ask insane demand for it .. so after 1 month of wandering in twin cities and in between by the grace of almighty ALLAH found a gem and my search came to rest finally ..

its vti oriel manual in white colour 2012 august model isloo registered and we are second owner .. now that ive purchased it the itch to do some modifications are inevitable so that my car stands out from the rest of the crowd inshALLAH !

Congrats mitthu bhai.

I made peace with the CVT Transmission as manual was not offered and had no choice after selling 8th gen.

Civic X handles and drives much better.

mashALLAH bro congratulations on getting your hands on one of the most sweet looking ride may it serves you well in the years to come .. yup i understand bro but for me ive tested all of them and for my own liking and what options we have here in our land of the pure i am finally at peace with this 8th gen manual again .. its unforgettably more fun to drive in my opinion civic is incomplete without manual transmission as auto makes us lazy and is boring to drive hence they made type-r version of it for a reason .. also apart from the new body civicX still has the same old 2006 r18 engine and transmission is auto which is dissappointing and was the main factor i went back to 8th gen and really loving it all over again .. anyways i must say good looking rims and tyres you have there how are these low profile tyres treating you on potholes we have on our roads everywhere ?

some japanese hybrid civic accessories procured from bilal gunj scrapyard and then got them paint matched and installed

door handles with chrome accent
side door mouldings with chrome lining
green tinted window glass and quarter glass
air press
blue type-r side mirror glass

You got car for good price but don’t you miss the silent and smooth cabin of 9th and 10th gen. 8th handles tad bit better but is little bit on harsh side.

Pakistani 8th gen civic brake rotors remain 10.2" which are not enough if used with oem tyre size so they result in early ABS engagement and lack of braking grip so upgraded bigger (11.1") brake rotors kit hence better braking power then Pakistani model oem (10.2") brake rotors .. this kit is plug n play and came in international model civic as OEM

1) original Honda nissin brake calipers part number (16CL15VN)
2) original Honda rotors part number (07B14A & 07B16A)
3) original Honda brake pads part number (JBNF87EF)

also removed original oriel rims with eurostar tyres (these are for sale) and replaced them with japanese yokohama 205/65/r15 tyres and japanese volk rays te37sl rims in 15 inch size .. am lovin it !

I too had 7th gen in manual sold it to get new cultus got bored of it so started searching for a manual 8th gen oriel and bought one in prestine conditions first owner 4 months ago with 93k on odo.

Finding a clean civic in islamabad is same as looking for a needle in a haystack,

Manual car that too civic with HPS is sheer pleasure to drive. absolutely love driving my baby girl.
Hum manual civic ki tarsi hoi awaam hain, at times i just watch the new type R videos on youtube and drool over it

So far i have not gotten anything aftermarket. I have already gotten all the consumables changed except fuel filter.

Right @mitthu now that you have 8th gen again, did you manage to find its beige colour 5D mats from isb? after alot of research i found the mats will get them delivered tomorrow then shall share the pictures. Price 3800.

Also i have stock OEM navigation unit installed in my car which i really want to get changed to android. You looking to do the same / or already done it?

good stuff, glad you sticking to OEM engine oil. 5W30 SN is blended by chevron australia. probably the best oil of this grade in most reasonable price available in pakistan.

Also i would recommend after changing PSF get under the car and monitor all the PS pipes for any leaks and if there is any readjust the clip.

Also i highly recommend this makhan.

For all the beautiful 8th gen owners who are using STOCK hydraulic power steering. Highly recommend this liqui moly makhan. Price 1300. My steering pipes or steering rack does not have any leaks alhamdulillah. 1 month ago i got tie end and rack ends replaced and the mechanic did not install the pipe back correctly resulting in slight drops of oil every morning. I adjusted the pipe and its clamp last week and alhamdulillah no leaks. I highly recommend this makhan because after pouring it last …

Yup checked all ps pipes before oil change there all good no leaks .. luck really counts in finding fully maintained and clean ride and there are now very few 8th gens left i think that were not abused cosmetically so consider ourselves blessed whoever has them enjoy and keep em safer

performed a projector retrofit in my rides good for nothing headlights few days ago including morimoto mini h1 7.0 projectors , morimoto gold relay harness , pair of 35 watt denso ballasts , h1 5500k bulbs and apollo 2.0 shrouds with centric rings .. result is nothing short of spectacular

Mashallah great car and great thread. 8th Gen is just terrific. I sold off mine in 2017, and still miss it, hence following this thread with great interest.
