Honda Civic 2000 front headlights suggestion required

AOA guys, It's been since 2002 I've been owning this Civic and never had to go through a major maintainance. However the front headlights are kind of getting worn out now (minor cracks noticed on parking lights)
Just a quick suggestion what's the best solution to it? Where can I find original pair or should I upgrade them to RS ones? Would they suit on a stock car?

Theres no way around the cracks on the lens. You will have to replace them and only go for stock setup.
The lights look fine to me for a car of that age though.

Sultan ka khu has two biggest traders who sell brand new lights. I forgot the names ill share their cards in a while

You can get new ones of Depo. And kabli which are original stanley honda but they are also buffed or cleaned most of times as its 20yr old car. Better get new original Depo ones they are decent and last easily 4-5yrs if taken care of.

Well for headlights if they are just getting dull you can do a DIY (some very good videos on youtube, just search ek headlight restoration) and get them cleaned and they'll look just brand new. For the cracks nothing really you could do, you'll have to get a new set. If the cracks are minor, i'd suggest to keep these headlights as they are not visible (at least in the pic).

As mentioned Sultan you can get original stuff at Sultan ka Khoo. Will need to search a bit for a good piece though. Rs lights on stock, well this comes down to personal preference. I prefer stock over the RS in a light colored car.

Thanks for the compliment and your suggestion brother, yes I've kept its care more than myself at times.

Coming back to the point, I've buffed the lights like twice since 2002 and recently 4 months back, they're not faded at all however the cracks are more likely to be aged plastic.

The reason I was thinking to go for RS lights was that maybe in dark lights the cracks or fades wouldn't be a lot visible.

Maybe you can try the proper method of sanding the headlights then compounding and finally using sealant.

I watched a real good video 2-3 years back, can't seem to find it, but the guy used 2 or 3 different sand papers to get a good even base. The video i linked is good too though. Started with a low grit paper and moved to higher grit. I'd say use 30-40 grit first, then use 100-120 and then move to compounding. Use the sealant at the end and they should be really shiny I believe.

oh bhains. Sir g sadqa day dein. MA tabahi. It surely is among one of the best EKs I've seen in Pakistan. Have seen only two other as good as this one, they were both white. What's the mileage like on this car?

Thanks bro, the steering cover I bought it online for less than 3 euros which barely makes 500 rupees even and got it stiched from a shoe maker (mochi)
However it came with its own thread, I'll try to find the link for you it was from eBay Europe.

I think the simplest and most effective solution is to get your headlights cleaned/buffed from market. I got headlights pair cleaned for just Rs 700/- from Rawalpindi saddar (Pakistan Autos, in lane opposite Kamran Market). I am attaching before and after pictures for reference.

can you show close up of the cracks on lights ?
if they are on the surface, it can be fixed through sanding

dont go for taiwanese headlights, only get original ones, if used, they can be buffed and cleaned up.

taiwanese more common is the TYC brand, and it does not have proper beam focus like the original.

if you want, get only the front transparent plastic part from some broken headlights and buff clean and fit onto yours.

Depo ones are very good. But obviously Stanley Honda are the best.
