Can anyone please guide that what voltage reading should be obtained for 3 wire IACV?? While engine on and also KOEOff

I am having hunting idle of my car between 1500 RPM - 2500 RPM due to IACV its confirmed.

I did Voltage tests

1- KOEOff and got battery volts on middle wire and the other 2 wires i got continuity with battery negative terminal while the connector was not connected to solenoid.

2- Now connector connected with solenoid did same test while engine running idle again got battery volts on middle wire and on other 2 wires i am getting 7.5 volts on both wires.

3- while engine on and running when i unscrewed the solenoid and remove it from IACV without disconnecting the connector from solenoid my idle becomes totally normal.

So i want to know if the 12 volts are fine on middle wire and 7.5 volts on other wire while engine running are also perfect?

Because i think i have some issue with my wiring harness or ECU because when took off the solenoid the idle got perfect and smooth. So there must be some issue some kind off short circuit or maybe bad ECU which is sending abnormal signal/volts to IACV.

Please expert assistance required badly. Getting very bad mileage from my civic.

Firstly is your car is reaching operating temperature (temp gauge in middle), is the thermostat installed and fan is Auto?

Secondly the idle fluctuation shows ecu is trying to control the RPM but couldn't control it as there maybe a vacuum leak or some other problem.

1) G g hassan bhai thanks for your reply..
And bilkull gaari apnay full joban par jaati hai :stuck_out_tongue: i mean temp is increasing to its optimal point which is middle of the temp guage and then the fan switches on thermostat is working fine fan is also
getting on and off perfectly.

2) And hassan bhai baat ye hai kay vacuum leak hota agar then why race is getting normal when i take off the solenoid from IACV while the engine is start and running. Isliye i asked about proper Voltage reading of IACV

i also think that the previous owner has swapped the engine from d15b to d16y7 but did not entered the new engine number on car registration book instead of that he has forged the the old engine number on new engine. i doubt this too. and the ECU currently is for d15b but the engine is d16y7. all this in my own thinking and dobut. as on the engine where the engine number is found there i can clearly see as if someone has buffed or grind that area to forge the old engine number on the swapped one.

Does the engine has vtec solonoid? D16Y7 is non vtec so the engine will not have any vtec solonoid at the back of the engine valve cover. Please post the picture of the engine bay

Nae nae hassan bhai non vtec hai my engine
I was talking about the iacv coil solenoid jo iacv kay sath green color ki body main attached hota hai which creates magnet and moves the iac valve accordingly whether to open the air flow or close it.... usko jab main engine on main utaarta hun tau solenoid ko tau gaari bilkull normal condition main aa jati hai race... Wait i will post pictures also here

Warm up honay kay baad karti hai aisay aur phr jab solenoid utaaro tau normal ho jaati hai
Asal main in my opinion iacv ko galat Voltage mil rahay hain due to which its acting weird and making the iac valve open and close again and again.
I also mentioned the obtained Voltage readings in opening of this post

Where IACV connecters are connected the green solenoid coil when i remove it in start engine warmed up.... Gaari bilkul set ho jaati hai race gaari ki.

Yes I know you were talking about iacv but you also said that you think engine is not what it is stamped so that's why asked you about vtec solonoid

As you are doubtfull about the engine you should also check what ecu is installed in your car. You will find ecu on passenger side kick panel below glove box and on the ecu there will be a sticker on the side. Take a picture and post here.

Are you saying with key off means ignition off you are still getting battery voltage on the middle wire?

Nae pyaaray bhai engine non vtec hai but stamped image is for d15.
Have a look do you also think that the engine number is forged? Ya phir ye aisa hi hota hai
