Hi Guys,
I recently bought a used 95 civic and the previous owner was driving it on CNG, I've been driving it only on petrol and that comes with a whole lot of issues since its been dry for a while. First thing i did was get the fuel tank serviced and cleaned because my fuel filter kept getting jammed because all the rust from the tank was getting into the fuel lines.
After getting the tank back it seems to be working fine, no more rust or dirt in the filter but now there seems to be a small leak in the tank, i'm guessing since its an old tank its probably really rusted and thats causing the leak (which the service guy should have fixed).
I'm thinking instead of removing the tank all over again and take it to the guy maybe I can use something like magic or epoxy or some other fuel tank sealer to repair the small patch thats leaking.
if anyone else has faced the same problem and has been able to find a good solution i would really appreciate any suggestions and help.
I"m in karachi so if anyone knows someones who would be good for the job or can help me out please let me know.
Maybe changing the tank would be best but its hard to find and i want to keep that as a last resort since its a bit expensive and theres no guarantee.
Thank you!
