My Honda City 2015 wind screen got cracked. Where should I get it replaced in Lahore and what's should I see while getting it's installation

Could any one tell what could be the reason of this crack as nothing hit on scree. There is no mark of stone hitting. Car was parked for 4 days outside home under cover and next day when I removed cover there was a crack

It happens sometimes because of poor installation by the company , temp changes ,sunlight , that’s why many people don’t close the window all the way .

I would suggest to get it installed from authorized Honda dealership.

It can break due to heat and temperature changes inside the car, when compared to outside (although ot shouldn't break).

When you get it replaced; for the sake of personal safety make sure its a 100% genuine windscreen. You will find 3 qualities in market, insist on the 100% genuine piece even if you have to pay a few extra bucks.

Brother, I do not know about the prices and labour charges. As Hashim Bhai has rightly said, you can call any authorised Honda Dealership and get quotes.

Else if, opting for other than Honda dealership (which I may not suggest in case of Windscreen), visit markets and get quotes. And as other fellow member has rightly said, please note that in markets, many different qualities may be available. Insist on genuine, OEM, Best quality one, and do not compromise on it.

You can later get it installed from any good garage.

Oem certified screen available at pakwheel accessories @12000 rs but they don't install it

YES. They can deliver but installation seems difficult.

For installation, one will have to go to some garage for getting it properly installed.

Firstly , Windscreens don't crack on it's own unless it's a local windshield which are all over the markets in Lahore and other areas made by Agi. Secondly you should only insist on Fuyao OEM brand as a replacement , else go with 3s form authorized Honda dealer and even there insist on getting a genuine part with Honda logo embedded. Easy way to check on non genuine parts is to scratch the logo from inside , if Honda goes then you can threaten to sue them. Windshields are main component of your car and carries with it lives of 5 passengers and lasts till car's life.

Either go OEM or go genuine. The Pakwheels ad clearly mentions grade A means it's first copy can be either local or China. Easy way as I said to figure it out is to rub the logo from inside they all cheat.
