Dear All,
There is confusion regarding engine oil capacity of Honda City GM. As per the Honda service centers it takes 3.7 liter oil whereas as per local oil change facilities and mechanics it takes 4L oil. The reason they provided is that when 3.7L engine oil poured the dip stick shows level between top and bottom. But when 4L oil has been poured the dip stick shows on top.
Please guide which is the correct oil capacity.
It is 2010 model under 100K millage and the seller of the car was using Caltex 10W30 (not 100% sure as his main focus was on brand Caltex not grade of the oil). Is it safe to switch to 5w30 fully synthetic?
