I recently purchased new Honda City 1.3 Manual transmission (zero meter). I'm still trying to understand its fuel consumption trend. So far I've covered mileage of 1800 km in total. Within first 1000 km run, I happened to cover a round trip between Lahore and Islamabad. The first full tank top up gave me about 500 km running but that included motorway running too (avg 16.5 km / ltr as indicated). However recent top up gave me only 350 km mileage within the city running (I got this fuel from a petrol pump which I'm doubting on quality). On local running, I'm getting an avg of 10 - 12 km / ltr. Someone told me that after 5000 km, this car is expected to give improved economy. Any opinion or feedback guys? Is this state alarming or just fine?
