AoA, I bought cd70 on March 3rd thinking about Honda being a reliable and well established brand.
I completed the running i.e. 1000 km in about 25 days and drove very carefully without any problems at all.
Since the tuning the problem that I have been facing is weird noises from the engine as if there are keys rattling. When I'm shifting gears very weird sound comes from the clutch box and not just that my bike is also missing whenever I try to go above 60.
I am way too worried as it was my first bike and it has not been a good experience.
Would appreciate all the help I can get.

  • I took the bike to Honda centre too but to no use. I don't know what to do it is just a month old bike. :sob:

actually honda is not the honda it was a few years ago. now they are using cheap material. I bought new PRIDOR a month ago and then sold it because of the problems you are mentioning. You are not the first victim dear now almost everybody is regretting buying honda bikes

The quality of Honda is going down the drain now a day's it's not the same as before.
You have to bear all this.
You can take some steps to make it better.
Use quality engine oil. I would prefer ZIC M5 20W-40 OR LM Street 20W-50.
Find some really good mechanic who can tune your bike properly.
Check the following maybe the mechanic has messed up the spark plug gap / valve adjustment / air fuel mixture ratio.

Guys at Honda centre are telling me to use Atlas oil any other oil will ruin the engine.
I have already asked the mechanics to tune twice in less than a week.
It's making me go mad as the sound the bike makes sometime scares me at times.
I changed the oil at 1000 km, should I change it again?

Would appreciate any help.

No need to change again....i think so the noise your talking about is stock sound of honda cd70 comes because of timing change....
check the carb and plug for missing issue.

It's not the stock sound of the engine. That I'm sure about.
Bike makes a rattling sound something similar as if the engine is going to burst. :joy:
Don't know if I'm just being paranoid or what. But Honda is making me go crazy. :joy:
Would appreciate of you know any Honda centre who can treat the problem well.

Went to a mechanic that my friend suggested. Just wanted to take his advice - he says that there is a problem with the clutch plates.
But this bike is not even a month old. Can it really be a problem?
I regret my decision of buying a Honda. :sob:
