All the bikers dude, i have a decision to make, would you please help me to make one..
I bought a used Honda cb150 few weeks ago. the bike was fine, it is 2022 model and only driven 7.5 Km before. after some time i took it to workshop. the dude their done some tuning and the big mistake he made is after removing the oil he forgot to add new oil. i drove the bike for few kilometers and then i doubt about it. took it to another workshop near my home and he ask me to check engine oil. there was some ticking noise coming from head. so we checked and there was very little oil in there. so he told me to add 20w40 oil because engine ran dry for few km and its better, previously the guy who owned the bike used 10w30 in it. so after that, i driove bike for around 100 to 150 Km and i checked engine was reducing the oil so then i changed oil again and added Liqui molly 10w40. now engine is running fine i drove it almost 100 KM, oil level is still same no smoke starting and running ok. but now i have a sound on it. when i drove it, it gives a strange sound like "Ghurr Ghurr" not a metal clattering sound but something like there's some sort of vacume inside somewhere. and now there is a very low ticking sound also coming from head. i took it to a very well reputed mechanic and after thoroghly examinin, he said its engine bearing are making noise, while noise is clearly coming from head side where valves are present. ticking also coming from there. few other mechanic said engine is fine drive it as you can just check oil level after every ride. now that mechanic said it requires engine rework or a whole engine rebuild with engine bearing change or any other replacement required when we open it. i am now confused what to do. mechanic says its ok to drive it, there will be no issue except the noise. please guide me what to do. i want to retain this bike for some time. is it ok to done engine work when its just driven only 8.5 approx or should i drove it.
