Honda Accord 2014 - Crash

I saw this accident of Honda Accord 2014 while coming from work yesterday on Business Bay road, Dubai. Accident occured few seconds before I passed by. Black accord guy severely turned left without looking on his hard shoulder and ended up crashing on Nissan Tiida. The impact of both rides was severe, Honda Accord from the front side the car crashed into the divider and rear you guys could see.. I am sure it's a total loss now.

uae insured cars! they play safe! no tension! major concern in about life and death. pretty bad collision though! i got scared when i saw uae's traffic flowing like a furious river last year

Blind spot. Or may be the driver didnt bother to see rear or side mirror.

It reminds me of my crash. May Allah keep everyone safe on the roads.

I thought new accord had blind spot detection warning system

it has LDW. Its not standred on all trim levels.. only the EX/ EXL and touring has it. I believe LDW system only warns if the car drfits from the lane without using an indicator. Its more of alerting driver of distraction. it works with a camera with laser mounted at rear viewe mirror location which monitor the road marking/ lines. Accord dont have active blind spot monitoring system. it has front collison warning system though.
I think LDW and blind spot monitoring are two different technologies. as BMW, Audi Mercedes have both.

Yeah its furious but idiot drivers like him change lane without looking in the side mirror and shoulders.. Crash Boom!! Boom!!

That's a similar crash bro.. but hope all passengers are safe. GCC specs model have less options when compared with the US specs here more concentration is on engine and heat resistent components due to tough weather. Dealers are greedy they know car would be a hot seller even if they don't offer options. You can check price differences cars in US are much cheaper even if we add 5% duty applicable in this region.

typically careless desi drivers as i can see in the pics. luckily no one seems to be hurt or injured,thank God for that.
