Help needed AC Cooling .Corolla Gli 1.6 Automatic 2012

****Expert Advice needed pertaing To AC Urgent please** .**
it's TOYOTA COROLLA GLi 1.6 Automatic , 2012 Model . 64000 Km
I am facing an issue pertaining to Ac cooling . Car has 64K KM on odo. bought it second hand last year october. Since this is the first summer season car is facing . AC is not cooling properly. Cooling is quite low even at Full Fan speed 4.
I don't know much about cars and their issues , Since it is my first car.
i went to mechanic he told me that compressor has completed his life . it's weak to maintain cooling . it needs to be changed. he advised me to have altered compressor which will cost 15K andTold result will be v.good. and genuine one he said will cost 30K ( told by CAR Ac mechanic in Kasur ).
yesterweek my Car RPM was creating issue on AC on & Heat gauage was fluctuating and 2-3 times car went to off mode itself (engine stop) . Mechaninc ( who is not Ac mechanic changed a Plug type thing near engine and that issue has been resolved ) . Question is should i go for altered compressor . are these two issues are linked ??

P.s i was searching about this on internet and found this forum . read couple of comments pertaining to AC issue . found out @zulifiqar Bhai knows well .

@ehmaad First of all tell your Car Make(Toyota/suzuki), Model (Corolla/Passo...) & Year(2017 or 2011,2010,2009...) ?

Can't believe, 2012 model and compressor is weak.
Brother please consult any good electrician because with 64K mileage, the chances of this problem are quite low but you can't say anything because of Indus is the manufacturer.

@talhabinomar Bhai showed it to 2 Electricians in Kasur . he first serviced that Ac thn he said compressor needs to be changed . one more thing he showed me two pipes, and told that Both pipes are hot . thn he pluged off heater Pipe & told one pipe must be cool .after pluging off the heater pipe , cooling is still below the average .. very low .

if u r in Khi, then go to Bashir Autos / A/C
If not then go to some reliable shop

Yes A/c compressors in all 2004 onward Corolla models r crap & r of poor Quality

@brownrose78 nope i am from Punjab . i live in city Kasur . 60 Km away from Lahore . Tell me should i go for altered compressor . ??? if this one is faulty and weak . what do you think ,altered Compressor would not create some other issues ???

If you will ask my opinion:
I will tell you YES to partially go for that so-called ALTERED Compressor(Pakistani auto A/C workers have coined this term for Terios Kid Compressor)
In fact, he will install Terios Kid compressor & for that little alteration will be required like extra bracket and bolts required for seating of Terios Kid compressor. (both Corolla as well as Terios Kid compressors are Rotory compressor)
I have ripped off several times by such compressors & finally i will tell what i opt for myself
I will suggest you to install new SANDEN Piston based compressor instead of Altered /used/kabli Terios Kid Rotory Compressor.
Rotory compressors are irreparable while Piston compressors are easily repairable.
Factory fitted Corolla compressors r real ROLLA

I think there is a leak in your AC pipes ad most probably your compressor is OK
If your gas needes to be refilled every summer then there is a leak get it fixed and then see if the issue is still present.
Most people here just refill gas in AC system without realising that it is a sealed system and if gas is low then there is an issue.

Refil gas and see what happens maybe its just low on gas

Once my car ac was also weak i went to a ac mechanic he was friend of my mamu ther was leak in pipes he also said that the conpresser is weak but i called my mamu to talk to him so he servised the compresser and put the gas in it now ac is working like a champ btw car is cultus 2001​

As per my experience, Bashir Autos / AC people r honest(at least in KHI, cannot say about LHR branch but hope same there too)

Check your car from there, do not forget to ask:

1.Brand of the Compressor e.g Denso, Sanden, Success, Uni
(If my memory is correct, most successful compressor history for compatibility with Toyota, Daihatsu, Suzuki & Honda is Piston-based Sanden Compressor Model# 505 or something... 5XX series)

1. Type of the Compressor e.g Rotory, Semi-Rotory, Piston based

2. Gas Brand e.g HW

3. New/ Used/ Reconditioned/Refurbished/Repaired

4. Maintenance? Repairable or NOT REPAIRABLE Type

5. Finally of course Cost

6. FIRST ASK COST, Then tell that I will not give/return you old Compressor/ Fittings/Condenser/Accessories etc. & will bring all old stuffs back to home (Then see their facial expression & Bargaining position)
