hi all
Im residing in Kallar Kahar, located right on the Motorway (permanently settled in Rwp though)
will be visiting Gujranwala shortly but thinking of not using the GT road and avoiding going to Pindi.
can anyone suggest me the route using the motorway?
i mean which interchange to exit and road conditions after i exit?

you will exit at Gujranwala interchange aand road condition after that is bad(my info is 2years old :))

there is a sheikhupura/gujranwala interchange on motorway but the road is in very bad condition. if you can go to chakwal, go through jehlam road you will reach gujranwala in less than 3 hours.

try google maps it will give u a good n complete info

as there are two interchange on M2 that will lead to Gujranwala
1 is kala Shah Kaku
2 is Sheikhu Pura

u can c which suits the the sheikhupora route i have never tried but heard the roads are bad and not safe at night

kalashahkaku is pretty good

I live in sheikhupura.You should exit at kala shah kaku interchange which is at gt road 15km from lahore then use gt road till gujranwal 40km from kala shah kaku.
Dont follow sheikhupura gujranwala road raod condition is very bad.

Dont know y u are avoiding GT road
but as far as my experience, for Gujaranwala GT road is best

Dont know about the Road Condition from Kallar Kahar but From Lahore to Gujranwala road is very Bad!! Major Portion was One Way due to some Construction work in February!!

The best rout is GT Road,
If you want to waist ur time then go through M2 for Gujranwala.

i know GT rd is best
but dont u all think its silly for me to go all way back to pindi from kallar kahar and then to gujranwala?
i am presently residing inkallar kahar

Go to Pind Dadan Khan then to Jhelum from there to Gujranwala via GT Road. This is the shotest rute from Kalar Kahar.
