Yeah checked, geyser is not the culprit, detected hot-cold water lines between kitchen and bathroom are criss-crossing and cold water is mixing with hot one, making it lukewarm and also not letting the thermostat trip.
If landlord did not get the things fixed, then I have no option but to move. I can pay more to the new rented house, then paying to SNGPL extra 10K every month and even then having no hot water.
@TrueEye. Yeah, a relative had done this. Laid new pipes instead of digging out old ones and it saved him a lot of money and time.
@ToofaneBatmeezi. It is a rented house and the family needs a regular supply of hot water this winter, it does not matter from where the pipes pass...lol
@C123pk, yeah if the landlord loves his property, he might fix it, or I leave the house, waiving the 30-day notice on account of faulty piping and the loss of over 30K rs last year on account of gas bills due to this fault.

Well people have mixed experiences with all brands. But with the types of other geysers available in the market, you are never sure what you are getting. Singer gives 3 years warranty on labour and parts. Their rep spent a good deal of time testing it at my premises and satisfying me about its operations. It is now giving very warm water after I closed the cold water intake for two hours. It retained the hot water till now. So it is going good. But the faulty piping is the problem in the normal operation of a geyser.
@Illdue786, yeah buddy so far getting good supply of gas. Local gas appliances keep working in low pressure, but my Rinnai heaters trip sometime
