Getting calls regarding closed ads

I am receiving calls for a car I sold last year. I checked my profile and the ad has been removed. However, I still get calls from people saying ad is visible. This has been happening for two months and is very annoying.

are you sure the arent seeing the ad on some other site ?

there was a case in which Pakwheels claimed another site was copying their ADS.

maybe a copied AD hasnt been closed.

When I was in process of selling my ex-cars, and had posted the ads on OLX and Pakwheels only, I used to get messages from not-so-famous websites companies that please also post ad on our website, with their marketing details, etc.

I can even name them, but would not like to get in to some controversy, so not mentioning.

I always deleted such text messages.

Getting contact nos. from OLX, Pakwheels is not a big issues. When they get contact nos. sending of messages starts.

And if there is a link in such SMS, which asks for the consent, and you click it, a similar ad with similar details will get posted on their websites (either automatically by picking details from OLX, Pakwheels, etc. or a person manually putting in the data), and it may become painful later.

No, in this case, I asked where they saw the ad and they replied Pakwheels. Afterwards, I went to check if the ad was cancelled, and it was showing as cancelled.
Anyways, not getting any calls now so I'm good.

that usually happends when people have bookmarked your AD.

it still shows your number when its marked to Saved Ads, even though it clearly says cancelled, some stil want buyers still want to make sure, whether they missed it or not, so they can toil over it for a couple of miinutes instead of calling on an active Ad.
