Bought a Gameboy advance SP today, for Myself, Not for my 5 and 4 Year olds , i was thinking of N-gage QD but finally looking at the games and the big screen i bought the gameboy in light blue color

4,900. rupees for a Brand New Dabba Pack Gameboy Advance SP (brighter display) and 200 rupees for each game, i bought 2 games, Prince of Persia and Mario World 4, both are great, great gameplay and great graphics in "Prince of Persia".
This is a great buy, after playing it for 3 to 4 days, i say its even good for 6k or even a 10k

Although size of Nintendo is much smaller than Sony and Microsoft (its rivals) but when it comes to creativity....nobody can match it.

my options included N-gage, Gameboy, PSP, DS, in the end i settled for Gameboy, the reasons are:1) Rs. 200/game. 2)really easy to carry in pants front pocket. 3)
Cheap

and for PSPs Rs. 2000/game is too much, what will you do if you dont like that 2000 rupee game, they dont exchange PSP games here, on the other hand they exchange those 200 rupee gameboy cartridge instantly

100s of games for gameboy, and for PSP very few titles, offcourse PSP is better, but GBA suited me, so i bought it and i am loving it

My younger brother gotta PSP. I like it quite alot but I second C123pk that games are damn expensive and what one can do if game aint turned out to be as good. I bought the PSP for around 250$ from HKG and bought almost every possible accessory from Canton for 50$ which includes the docking, speakers, kit, chargers etc etc except car kit.

@C123pk, Quality of screen is equivalent to that of N-Gage? And can you please post a real pic of it to assess the size and dimensions? And battery time? And bro ya bought it from electronic market etc?

@charter, yaar N-gage has 4k colours and a smaller screen, Gameboy has 30k colours and a good-sized screen, single battery charge is good for 10+ hours and i bought it from delawala, Clifton, there you ll find alot of shops and more competition.

i own one too its in silver colour and bought it frm canada.i ve got GTA and DONKEY KONG cartridges..

is that true its cartridge is of 200rs i ve listened that it was approx 500 to 2000...

where do i will get wide collection of these cartridges in KHI

Go to Clifton Delawala or Saddar, pay 175 rupees for the 64 mb ones and 200 to a 250 rupees for the 128mb games, 256mb games will cost you 350+, most of the latest and other very good games are 64mb so dont pay more then 200 rupees Final Fantasy V is on 256 mb, but its worth it, pirated Final Fantasy VI is still in Making
in the Great republic of China, it will be here soon.
Dont miss Castlevania titles, classics like doom, doom2 and dukenukem are also available.

They all have options of saving but when i turn off the gba and turn on again does not have any save games. DOES GBA SP HAS A MEMORY CARD , WHATS ITS PRICE, WHERE CAN I BUY IT FROM.

@Mercedes, Yes about half of the games have a SAVE DATA problem as they are pirated, You should look for the games which can be saved or are like Street Fighter kind.
Games which can be saved that i have played are:

1. Castlevania: Aria Of Sorrow (Simply amazing).

2. Prince of Persia (Completed it on SLEEP MODE, I did not turn the gameboy OFF for 7 days i think, just put it in SLEEP mode, its almost like turning it OFF)

You should check great games on gamerankings.com before you buy games as most of the new titles have something like 5 to 6 out of 10 marks.
