AA everyone,

I tried to look for a related post but didn't find any so apologies if this topic is already present.

I'm planning to buy Honda City A/T 1.3 but a city A/T owner confused me the other day. According to him, his city does 8 KM/Liter in City and 12 KM/L on highway. This consumption is too bad as City M/T does around 15 KM/L in city i guess.

Can anyone please clarify it with authentic consumption of both cars? Thanks in advance

yes its true! my 2 friends have city, one has auto and the other one owns a manual . manual city does 14kml and auto gives 9-10kmpl in city driving

True it is. City A/T doesn't give good mileage.

Yes I own a city at and it gives mileage of Max 9 in city .however on open.roads like ring road it gives 12 /l

I just drove 129 kms from lahore to sialkot GT road on my new city 700kms driven when i reached home the avg was 18.7km/pl

I think it will get better after 5K service as right now idle city is on 1.2k rpm

I got Aspire P/T 700 km driven
And getting 8-9 km/l , in city with A.C
It is true that Manual gives l
More Mileage than auto,
I wanted a Comfort so I traded for fuel, you should go for manual, its gonna give u a Good Fuel Consumption.

In Manual Fuel Economy is target
In Automatic Comfort is target so you have to give up the economy for your own comfort. Opportunity Cost Brother.

My city 09 auto gives 10.7 to 11.3 in city while it touched 16.3 on long.

You are rite, my P/T gave 9 km /l with A.C , but on a short trip to kalar kahar, it gave around 13.2 , and its still 890 km driven only.

Point is Long route does give u Economy but in city drive its v less but that exactly d point you get Comfort on a cost as TALAH said above

need to confirm one thing about city 2010-2009 - manuel the patrol ave you've mention is 14km in city driving does it includes AC full time?
or without AC.
please clarify as i was about to purchase city 2010 next week.

its with 75% ac use in city (islamabad). city MT has good fuel average but danda suspension! comfort level is bad! not normal but bad. i would have bought reborn or 1.6 altis instead of city! reborn does anything above 11-12 in isb , same as altis but one can enjoy the ride ateast

15-16 km/l in City, 18 to 19 Km/l on highway
125000km Done. maintained throughout by Honda
General Eurostar (Stock tyre size) changed 2 times (first time 35000 km, 2nd time 98000 km)

i am having different results though, P/T Transmission 1.5 aspire 60k driven and inside Islamabad average is 14.2.

(The cluster has been restarted many times and same average is achieved)

on long its around 17-19 km/L.

Note that this 1.5 P/T City is used by my father who is noway near to being familiar to hypermilling.

in islamabad you can't hyper mile anyways
