FS: 1967 Chevrolet Impala

AoA, all.

Have decided to sell my 1967 Chevy Impala. This is the car that's been immortalised by the show "Supernatural", although I'm sure that fans of Dean Winchester's "Baby" do not need me to tell them that :)

The car is restored and modified (ie, a resto-mod), with a 1UZ-FE VVTi (300 bhp) 4000 cc V8 engine and matching 5 speed Tiptronic auto gearbox (from a Lexus LS400). It has four wheel disc brakes, custom headers, and a custom exhaust setup. The car has been finished in gloss black with a candy colour overbase, a custom interior (in black and ivory leather). I've converted it to a power steering setup. The car rides on Yokohama Prada tires (275/40/20) riding on 20 inch Corsa chrome wheels. If anyone would like to return it to its original engine setup, I'd be willing to give away a Chevy 350 small block (5700 cc) along with a matching auto tranny, for free.

Like the ad for the '65 Impala that's also out there, somewhere...I'm truly saddened to set this ad up. But again, I would love to see it go to an enthusiast who cherishes it for its unique shape and stunning performance, rather than treat it as "just" a piece of metal. If I didn't have plans underway for some other ongoing projects, I would have NEVER sold this car. It's just THAT beautiful and rare.

I am asking Rs 2.2 Million for this, and this price too is only very slightly negotiable. If you'd like to offer ridiculously low amounts of money for the car, may I request you to please opt for something else. This clearly, is NOT what you're looking for.

2ndly, ithnk you will not get that much likes and comments as u received in resto projects, bcx everyone is happy with you in resto projects, and dont thnk that much people will be happy now. (my thinking)..my point is not to dis heart you but there is a point of space soo, agree with you sir...

There is no need to apologise for ANYTHING you said, brother.

The reasons for selling "The Ladies" is simple: they are to make some space for other cars that will be incoming. One option was to store these two cars away in my village, and leave them unloved and unseen and uncared for, in some shed / garage. The other option was to sell them, so that someone can actually keep them alive and well, and take good care of them. If the second option does not work, brother...tau pehla option tau hai na?

If I don't get the sort of price that I'm looking for, these Ladies will go to take a long vacation in storage, until such time as they're 75 years old, and my son decides to take them out. Simple.

You really can't put a price tag on such vehicles. For some, these cars are priceless, beautiful, and desirable. For others, they are useless 50 year old pieces of metal that represent styling and performance from a bygone era. At the end of the day, inn ki qeemat utni hai, jitna ke aap ka shauq.
