F-CAN = Error?

Today,I did a gauge cluster test on dad's civic 9th gen ivtec........got this F-CAN error on the i-mid.What actually it is???
(Car has completed 4500 km today)

F-Can is communication protocol for data speeds 500 kbps & above in automotive industry to & from ECU as well for fault diagnostics. It is used in engine control units of high performance EFI engines.

B-can is again a comm protocol for speeds upto 33 kbps for internal functions in a vehicle but not related to engine performance.

do u get this error on the small screen next to speedometer? this is where the mileage is supposed to show. i think the error is relted to that. when did u get the car checked from honda last?

yes on the small screen (I-MID)......got it checked on 1000 km.....now will be going there at 5000km....hope they check it and fix it
