Expected Cost of a Paint Job + Good Workshop Suggestion?

Hi Everyone,

I have a car Suzuki Baleno in Maroon Color. It was already showered and the paint quality is good but the painting labor and denting work was not done properly on doors so they are full of unnecessary Poteen and still there are dents on them. Fenders and rest of the body is good.

I need to get all poteen removed from them, get the denting done properly and get them repainted again with no or very very minimal poteen. I visited an expert painter in my area in Rawalpindi and he said that it will take approx 35 thousand rupees to repaint both sides of car and around 60,000 if I do the whole car. Denting charges (for removing current poteen and dents) are separate.

Really painting costs this much? I checked the market and a very good quality paint costs around PKR 7000 per liter. Isn't 1 liter paint enough to repaint just both sides of a car? Lacquer will cost what? 4000?? Even then, the cost of material becomes around 11,000 rupees. So, it means only the painting labor is around 25 thousand rupees, when the denter is doing all work of removing poteen and fixing dents??

Can anyone give me an idea about expected cost of labor for 4 doors or both two sides of the car if I buy all paint materials by myself and the denter removes all poteen and fix the dents?? Also, can anyone recommend me any good workshop to get denting and painting done in Rawalpindi or Islamabad?

A friend had his Jeep painted from JW motors in H-12 Islamabad. He's very much satisfied with the paint but it was very expensive, almost 12K per panel. Another option is to take you car to squad one Lahore. They ask around 7.5K/panel. Actually I'm also searching for a good paint shop for my Baleno.

This is what I was saying. This rate is not justified. If a very good quality paint costs 2000 per panel and lacquer 1000 per panel (which I bet costs less than this), then they are taking labor of 4.5K to 9K per panel. This is too much! Plus there is no guarantee that they will use such good quality paint. Many of them always try to get as much cheap paint as possible... I think it is best to buy paint and other stuff by yourself and pay only the cost of labor to the painter.

there is a denter on Peshawar road, Rawalpindi, near chor chowk. Juma Khan 03165144453.
Highly skilled, and very reasonable, pay him a visit, i am getting work done from him for a decent decade now, unbelievably good repairs and the paint job as well are phenomenal. cost will be around 5k per panel, at maximum(paint that is)

I got a Honda City 2005 bake painted in 2011 for 38000/-.
So I guess 60K in 2019 is fine.

From where you got it painted? shop address? Also, what is your feedback regarding the paint quality. How well it lasts with years to come? I just want understand does it worth it? I have GLi 2009 which needs to be completely repainted so I am in search of some good quality paint shot (not necessarily expensive).
