if the engine is fine then please dont swap it .... orignal orignal hota hai .... and the market value of you car will massively take a nose dive .... and what ever engine you get it will be a used one ... changing an engine is not like going to a store and buying a lolly pop ... these used engines can give you massive headaches ... its easy to say blacktop silvertop 7a h22 1j 2j blahblah blah but actually doing it is sooo much khwari

100% agreed. you are not going to put 0 meter brand new engine, its just wastage of time and money. they money you want to spent on it, add this and change your car.

Swaps are only for people who understand the fundamental concepts of the engine and also can tackle repair jobs themselves, If you are completely relying on a mechanic for it - You would be entering a life of misery of untold magnitudes.

in short if you dont know how to change your cars engine oil yourself or troubleshooting fuel injection issues - stay away from anything relating to a swap. The electrical and signal problems can make you chase your tail and your bank account to reduce to zero.

I agree with everyone recommending against a engine replacement. I recently replaced an engine in my car but it was not the same as the original felt... the car ran fine, started on one try, and ran like a horse but it just felt unreliable. I didn't want to risk getting stranded in the middle of no where with my family so I decided to sell the car off. The total cost of the effort was 70K and numerous (more than I can count) trips to the kabari and mechanic ... in the sale I lost almost 20K and wasted a good two weeks of my life.

Sell off the car and get a new one if you can afford.. my honest advice
