which engine oil is good for 2003 santro club?
ZiC A would be good.
but iv heard that ZIC oil synthetic is not recommended for pakistan because of hot weather and also market is full of fake oils. im getting big problems by using this oil in my honda city 2007 model.
caltex havoline is best !
thanks guys for your input.is caltex havoline good for santro?
Try to get Zic from a reputed shop or search for an authorized dealer. Last week I saw Zic A in Makro at very low price. I am sure that won't be a fake oil!
i use havoline for my santro aswell,i term it best for the price.
ZIC A is best choice
Toyota Petron Using it and i think its best..
i use havoline as well ...
dear compare it with Shell Helix HX7 for Santro plz
your engine will run perfectly on mineral engine oil, ensure some points for long life.
1 use a good oil filter2 ensure that the engine temperature is NORMAL before you lug the engine.3 Ensure that your air filter etc is good.
I am using Shell Helix HX5 10W-40 (yellow packing) in my 2005 hyundai santro with 88k on odo.this is a mineral oil...my car runs very well on it..engine is noiseless, smooth and fuel efficiency is also great.. drain interval is 3000km..but car needs upto 1 litre of top-up in between two oil changes (which is normal as per owner's manual)... i change OEM oil filter on every oil change and air filter every alternate oil change...my few concerns are:1) shell helix HX5 is API = SG...(dont u think SG its very old ??)2) Will it be harmful or good if i go a step ahead and start using Shell Helix HX7 which is Semi-synthetic oil with API = SM ??
check for company certified engine oil in there website or contact local dealer.
attached picture is from manual book of Santro
