Any oil would serve the purpose well, which meets following criteria:

1. Grade: 5w-30
2. API SN / SN Plus
3. ILSAC GF-5
4. Fully Synthetic
5. From some reputed brand
6. 100% genuine and original

Just change oil along with genuine / good quality oil filter after specific time intervals, and you are good to go.

And how much did you bought it for ?

I have used 0W20 Honda Genuine engine oil in my 2014 Honda Civic till 100k kms after it i sold the car. It used to work perfectly fine and engine didn’t reduce any oil. I used to change it at 6000kms.

Thank you for sharing your experience. What is the OEM recommendations in the owner's manual. How did you choose OW20 ?

Oem is 5W30 fully synthetic. But internationally in these cars people were using 0W20. It works perfectly fine on it. I have have used 0W20 in my new civic also without any issues.
