Haahaa.... I will tell you where the Engine No is as i hardly managed to figure it out in my Vitz2006 with 1.3 2SZ Engine...

PEPSI Pilani perey gi.... Here it is.... There is a hard Rusted vertical strip at the front side of the engine where people claim it should be... Just see that piece from right side using a bulb light.... You will clearly see it with a smile...
Japanese cars have this issue so the Excise ppl also dont bother to see the no and document it... they just use engine model...
