Hello friends I have lancer 2006 1.3 with company fitted cng currently I am running on stock. I want to modify my car engine so I need experts to suggest me on this. Please no crap replies.

get the basics bro...
get a performance air filter
downpipe and exhaust.. headers too..i dont know if Lancer gets aftermarket headers...
changing the plugs dont matter.. so ignore that
remove the powersteering belt. helps a little:P
get the intake manifold polished (chrome)
and ud see a difference.. not MUCH but there would b
i dont know if a 4G13 can be modified :s
what exactly are looking for? better accelaration? better fuel consumption or better top speed?

I want more acceleration and top speed. In short I want more horsepower with my current engine.
Mann this car got very much potential Use to own1 Completed Stage 1 N/A and Then turbocharged it as well. Wth CNg u can fit after market Air Filter ,Upgarde exhaust system,Install after Market fuel pressure regulator Groundwires and maybe SOme Happy Gas
chuck the engine out of the engine room - then put in a 4g92 in there, you will fall in love with the insane power it will be shoving out, Ive put a mivec NA 4g92 (LHS mount) in a 93 lancer and the car could outgun pretty expensive modern cars rather quick and still get about 14 km/lit when driven gingerly
well...id say just remove the CNG and drive it ..
btw plugs change...could be an option,u gotta change the wires...maybe to 11mm ...n try to score some msd ignition in used maybe (ma frnd just found one for 500rs sumwhere from pesh)(its only then that changing plugs will help)
^^ who told you that bigger plug wires improve performance - and why are you advising him to run MSD on a wasted spark ignition system, the inlet manifold will blow apart if it fires on incorrect timing.
Thank you all for the suggestion I am planning to remove CNG in next week. One thing I want to ask I went for performance headers that guy suggested me for the 2.5inch piping:o. Need experts to guide me for this.
how much did you pay for the 4g92 mivec? i have the same car as urs so any idea how much would a swap cost?
the rumor has it that its one of the best 4g engines ever produced by mitsu!!
Paid 120K for the full front assy with wiring harness and ECU - had to redo the body electrics to accept the fuel pump, A/C and main relay feeds and signal to and from the EFI harness.
