DONT,

if your car stalls out - kiss it goodbye as its a unicorn in Pakistan unless you want it to become a donkey

It's not suited for Pakistani weather conditions and obviously, it needs CHARGING from electricity. And half of time in Pakistan there's no electricity.

Did you manage you send your Nissan Leaf from UK to Pakistan?

I know the basic rules but I haven't exported any car from UK to Pakistan so I need someone with first hand experience!

All I know that:

(1) 100% Electric cars are duty exempted... has anyone attempted such import?

(2) However a "25 percent ad valorem excess" applies... any costing procedure info?

(2.a.) Now.. the car I bought a couple of weeks ago is a salvage car from copart.

(2.b.) which means... if the car was road worthy, it would cost £30,000 ... but i bought it for £1000

(2.c.) adding vat + delivery charges + copart fees total receipt writes £2,200.. right?

(2.d.) having said that.. am I paying "25pc ad valorem excess" on the final receipt of 2,200? or current (salvage) car price £1,000 OR not a road worthy estimated value of £30,000? need clarification here..

(3) has to be under 3 years and 1 car within past 2 years.. under 1 of 3 schemes.. all those classic regulation are understood.. need more info...

MY NAAQIS UNDERSTANDING:

assuming if the duty was exempted..

duty = 0.00
25pc ad valorem excess on £1,000 = £250
agent fee = ??
stamp paper fee = ??
clearance officer fee = ??
processing fee = ??
admin fee = ??
port fee = ??
crane operator fee = ??
using the crane fee = ??
container holding fee = ??
container opening fee = ??
car unloading fee = ??
car loading on truck fee = ??
spectator's fee = ??
truck fuel fee = ??
deliver the car to out of port fee = ??

and if there is anyone which i'm missing, add that fee
many thanks.
