I have very limited knowledge on the topic but I was also advised to do the same, at first someone said coils khatam hogaye hai, someone said wires but later after research on baleno master forum I kind of found the solution. Looking for a solution to my baleno problems was the reason I made this account. The thing is that hiccups is the perfect description I can find of the problem I had. The car lost acceleration for a second, there was a jhatka, and then it came back to life. So I think our cases might be similar. Have you checked the air pipe which goes to the throttle body, there might be leaks of some sort there,?
