Difference betwee 1 HZ, 1HD-T, 1 HD-FT

Guys please tell me the difference between these engines.
1 HZ, 1 HD-T, and 1 HD-FT?

1 HZ is non turbo I guess. but what are other differences? in terms of number of valves, SOHC or DOHC and hp and low end torque? Also please post pictures along with them as I am planning to put one in my LC and i have no idea what they look like new to these engines

the one in the picture is 1hd-t also known as 12 valve(came in 90 to mid 95 cruiser). 1hz is the same engine without turbo. as far as 1hd-ft is concerned it is known in the market by the name 24 valves, it came in mid 95 to 97 model cruisers. from 98 1hd-fte was introduced in the new shape cruiser with e being the symbol for electronic fuel injection. For details and specs type each model in wiki u will get the desired result.

The 1HZ Toyota Landcruiser 4.2 Diesel 6-cylinder 12-valve ohc (over head camshaft) is of the IDI or indirect injection design, and delivers maximum power of 96 kW (129 hp) @3800 rpm and maximum torque of 285Nm (210lbft) @2200 rpm.
The 1HD-T is a 4.2 L (4164 cc) straight-6SOHCturbochargeddiesel engine of direct injection design. Bore is 94 mm and stroke is 100 mm, with a compression ratio of 18.6:1. Output is 162 hp (121 kW) at 3600 rpm with 267 lb?ft (361 N?m) of torque at 1400 rpm.
The 1HD-FT is a 4.2 L (4164 cc) straight-6 24 valveSOHCturbochargeddiesel engine of direct injection design. Bore is 94 mm and stroke is 100 mm, with a compression ratio of 18.6:1. Known as the "multivalve" it has 4 valves per cylinder (2 inlet, 2 exhaust), central vertically mounted injector, and no glow plugs but rather an intake glow screen heater (like the later electronic 1HD-FTE). The 4 valves per cylinder are actuated by the SOHC, by using bridges so each rocker actuates a pair of valves. Output is 168 hp (125 kW) ECE at 3600 rpm with 380 N?m of torque ECE at 2500 rpm.

1HZ costs about 1.80 lakhs and 1HD-T is about 2.40-50 lakhs and 1HD-FT is 3.2-3.5 lakhs

I would suggest you to take it to Toyota Ravi Motors, they are experts, have proper skills and tools, get it checked by Hafiz Usman, a really nice man and their captain, you can see his skill certificates at reception of After Sales Service office as well.

You can easily source its parts from Amir Autos on Montgomery Road and their prices are reasonable and will guide you the best.

If you have some bigger problem do discuss it here and take feedback from 4x4 experts.
