Can you guys tell me about diesel engines 1c & 2c vs petrol 4k engine which one is good in power and fuel economic

4k petrol... Very powerful but economically 5km/litre max mileage.

1c, 2c are like... 70 horsepower engines. 4k petrol is 190 horsepower... So u can imagine its power.

Can you plz tell me about diesel engine 1c & 2c
Many people are telling about diesel engines are way better than petrol bcoz its economic and last longer

Ok. Then 4k petrol is a definite NO for these cars.
Also 2c and 1c wub be a NO from my point of view because these engines are HEAVY. I doubt that the frame of these cars can bear this much weight. Even if some mechanic fits it, the car might get too heavy to give good fuel economy.
Try 1N diesel engine. That engine is made for light weight diesel cars.
If some petrol engine is available (1800cc, 2000cc etc), thats the best because of diesel engine harsh starting issues in winter on hills.

Oh sorry. I confused it with 4000cc engine.
4k... Yes u are right...! My mistake.

I think imrankiyani707, 4K is a good option. also 5k & 7k if you can find them.
all of these mentioned engines from toyota are work horse engines. Since you are looking for low priced car and engine, there is no point looking for too much economy.
1c and 2c are bit overkill for 74-84 models of corolla, though some users are driving them succesfullly.

4k IMO gets atleast 10km/ltr.

Diesels are good if you can take care it properly. You will get powerful engine, happy to bear load, tunning less (as compared to petrol), and dheet engine. On negative side, it will be noisy, smokey, and vibrating.

Otherwise, petrol is vice versa.

With models of corolla you mentioned, petrol is recommended. If i were you, i would have bought 82, remove 4k, and install 7k with 5 speed gear. 7k might be available in EFI also.

Actually im living in hilly area and don't have any car experience.. thats why im hesitating

buy a car with an original engine, those are the best remidies, state your location and budget

A mehran would do you well. Fuel efficient, torquey and maximum road clearance

Without a problem

@dayrider
Thanks a lot
Actually I know Mehran is good according to my budget but i dont have any experience thats y i ask people about Mehran some people like u said its very good and economic but other saying no its not good for hilly area and rough roads.. ( is k goday nikal jatay hn aur is k thiye toot jatay hn) thats y im confusing

If you abuse it, these things happen. If you are careful, nothing happens
