DEPO or genuine lights?

I have recently bought a brand new GLi. Now I'm planning on installing fog lights in it. However this is where the problem lies. I believe in installing genuine Toyota approved and certified after market accessories in my car. However I have been told by some people that DEPO made products are just as good as the original.

Now I am in a fix as to which after market fog lights to go for. I was thinking of buying them from Toyota as they will ensure peace of mind and well, they'll be genuine. But they cost Rs 11,000.

On the other hand DEPO lights are costing me Rs 6000 - 7000. That's a significant saving of approximately 4000 - 5000 rupees.

So any Corolla users who have installed DEPO lights in their cars I was wondering how has your experience been so far? Do the lights fade away after some time or get dirty?

DEPO. have depo fog lamps on my Civic 2008 working as good as originals in almost less than half the price.

I'd recommend DEPO Fog lights. They are as good as the original ones. Same bulbs and similar housing. No difference whatsoever. Recently a friend got them installed in his Altis for Rs. 5K with 300 for installations. The wiring harness was very well covered in the insulation.

I installed Depo fog lights in my Corolla 2009 about a year ago. So far they are going good Allhamdullilah. So you car safely go for Depo and save some money.

Depo is perfect, it's the nearest you can get to genuine

NEVER go for DLAA, they are NOT even half as good as DEPO.

I say get the DEPO, they have a very good reputation worldwide and make quality lights

Thanks Khurram bhai! No I went for 1.3 GLi. Was getting it at old invoice price, plus resale etc forced me to buy it instead of overspending on GLi A/T or Altis as their prices increase every 20 days.

So the overwhelming majority here agrees DEPO lights are the way to go. Can anyone tell me from where I can buy 2012 Corolla's DEPO fog lights and at what price? And also is there any kind of warranty for these lights? Toyota offers 6 months warranty for genuine after market accessories.

And also can anyone post a picture of DEPO logo or something? I don't want to be scammed.

The one's for my Civic 05 came in this packaging, but I'm pretty sure there's another packaging in the local market with more detail on it
