brother he defination of D1 till D4

D1= car goes in only 1st gear
D2= car goes in 1st and 2nd only
D3= 1st, 2nd and then 3rd gear.
D4= 1st, 2nd, 3rd and finally 4th

D4, D3, 2, 1 are gear sets for certain road conditions. Most of the time you would drive with D4 which will as normal have you use all four gears.
Using 2 would mostly be for hilly terrains, as the 2nd gear is one of the tallest gears.
using 1 & D3 these gears will only allow you to drive up to 3rd (D3) & 1st (1).
If you don't intend on going to through any hilly areas anytime soon just use the D4 and drive as normal.

correct ur question pls. as non of the auto shift cars have normal / high / very high or going high mentioned, alikanju has explained u the best. if u r not getting any thing from this. then brother u should write to ur car manufacturer, they wil explain u the rest.

Yar there is no need to shift gears on auto without real need....jst shift to D and drive..

Do this.

Press the pedal on the right when you want to go faster. That's ALL you need to do in an automatic car. There's no reason to 'switch gears' in an automatic car!!!!!
