If I let the car sit overnight and drain it in the morning as opposed to warming up the Engine/Oil and then draining it, which would drain more oil? i.e. sitting overnight, most of the oil would drain to the pan from nooks and crannies?
What method could be used to change the most CVT oil? Other than taking the whole tranny apart.
Is it necessary to change the CVT oil strainer (filter) which shows up once the Oil pan is removed. I don't see an official part for it available. Third party parts are sold for that.
IF I were to start the car, while CVT oil pan is empty/drained, what would happen if it remains in park? Would it drain further oil? Do I risk trapping air or such?
