Corolla suspension issue

I own a gli mt 2015 with 130,000 km on the ODO , it has been with me from the day it was delivered from showroom.... after 4 years , I refreshed the suspension and installed Toyota Thai struts , genuine ball joint , tie rod end and zlink (didn’t change the strut/shock mounts) however I still feel there are a couple of issues which I’m unable to address and need input from seniors like capsat, Zulfiqar and friends

1. Whenever I drive off the ramp when the struts are at maximum expansion ... I hear a particular shrieking sound from both front sides ... what could be the reason as the suspension has been checked by my mechanic and apparently everything is at its place

2. I still feel the tyres have a very slight wobble which is felt at slow rpm , which makes the ride slightly uncomfortable and not 100% .... the tyres are brand new advan db 552 installed last week

3. When crossing a speed breaker or a poth hole there is a slight jerk felt (as if the tyre dropped into poth hole)

Tried reaching Obama car care but their number is off & I don’t find Toyota guys good enough with respect to diagnosis and rectification ... so leaving them aside , what do you guys suggest

Should have replaced shocks with kyb japan instead.

1. Its due to control arm bush and balance rod bush. Change them as well. Crick crick noise at ramps is international issue for 11th gen corolla. It will also go away once you'll grease up control arm bushes thoroughly.

2. Change shock mounts as well as check wheel bearings.
   Original shock mounts from factory do not have rubber seal which will prevent water from wheel to go into shock mount, and in return the bearing gets rust.

3. This is due to the oem shock you fitted. This factor isn't there in kyb japan shocks..

tyres need balancing. mostly tyre shops balance only internal side of rim. it has to be balanced on both sides.

The tyres have been balanced and aligned by ISHAQ @ Walton Road , the car is stable upto 150 km/h speed

I’ll replace control arm, balance rod bushes & strut mounts .... Toyota is charging 8250 per mount whereas on McLeod road they are available for 2650 ... PakWheels auto store is offering @ 1800 per piece

Not going to replace the bearing as I don’t have any humming sound even at high speeds

These Toyota Thai struts are pretty fine & take a good beating .... I try to use oem parts as much as possible

Sometime back I used a Machined bolt for chamber adjustment however it was replaced with a kabli genuine bolt ... could this be one the reasons?

I am facing one issue on my Altis 1.6. Hope you can diagnose it as well. I hear a TAK sound when the car starts moving after it has been parked for a while. The same sound CANNOT be heard most of the time even when passing through pot holes. but can be sometimes heard when the front wheels move on to an elevated surface like such as a new layer of a repaired road. or when turning and moving onto a ramp (suddenly but not harshly). The struts are absolutely fine. I have changed both of z-links. Got the bolts tightened by alignment shop.

If you guys are hearing cricking sound on speedbreakers, ramps or potholes then that's control arm bush for sure. Grease it up gently and it will go away. This sound also goes away during rain coz bush will be full of water. This issue is present in cars of USA as well.

Facing same issue now in altis 1.6.. if u got any solution help me out

It was a hardened / shrunken bushing and one z-link. All suspension items shud be replaced with genuine OEM ones, even if they cost a fortune, because other part makers have differen rubbers which dont give the same dampening effect as OEM ones. I suggest that one u disassemble a suspension then u shud replace all the rubber components even if they are ok. U can keep the ones that are alright as spares.
