Corolla 2017 fuel average

Salam.. i am planning to buy new toyota corolla 2017 but i am a bit confused between gli auto and grande.. although the showroom persons are saying that 1.8 is having better fuel average. Anyone who is having these two pls guide me. I m low on time

If you have budget buy Grande eyes closed and you will love it. I have driven around 2,200 kms only and fuel consumption in city is 11 kms/lit. After 5,000 -10,000 fuel averages of all cars improve so I hope to get 12-13 in city and on long it gives up to 17 kms if driven steadily.

gli 1.3 has poor fuel avg due to being under power
one tries to gt going and results gulping fuel
in city drive it has an avg of 8 with ac

Yokohama Advan DB 195 - rims are the stock alloys, i think 15 inch. Pressure - 30 bar.
Drive with a light foot with the eco light on.
