Cooled/ventelated seats

After a not so comfortable journey around the city, i was wonder if it is possible to install cooled/ventilated seats, since there are heated seats similarly, can we possibly work with something to be used in out hot climate.

aftermarket cooled seats may be available in some markets around the globe, since we don't have access to them we improvise ! Cool Breeze Self Cooling Seat Cushion

I haven't started working on it yet, lets see what u guys come up with.

As cool as they would be, probably would be impractical and very expensive to make. With heating, you just need a heating coil, passing current through it will heat it up nice.. but cooling is a different ballgame. The only possible solution i can think of is to have an inter-cooler like contraption which can send cooled liquid through pipes, and those pipes can be run through the seats.

Well seat manufacturers like Recaro, Bride and some others make cooled sports seats here is a pic of one and model number, but they cost an arm and leg and bit more

Heated or cooled seats may cause complications for your reproductive system.

So if you want kids, bear some burning on your behinds.

oh *** wtf should i do its not chilling cooled just blowing air

believe me its very useful when ever i go in someone els car i take it with me 4 of my family member dont talk with me because i had a fight with them because they wanted it its very very useful in sumer

See, that's because we don't have heated/cooled seats. Russians have heated seats - their population decreases by a couple of million each year.

btw - cooled seats are not very new - many german cars use coconut husk in the seat backs (its naturally cooling) - but the nice cooling in a RAM 1500 laramie truck seats is very very nice in searing hot weather

useful info guys, but i want a home made cooled seat. i dont want to buy it off the shelf. a cheap alternate that can be done at home.

suggestions are welcome.

ask a truck or bus driver as they are mostly on the roads and they must have a solution.
i have seen a truck driver seat which has special seat covers with beads to help air circulation
i am not in contact with him otherwise confirmed you.
