SALAAM EVERYONE, I WANNA SHARE A CASE OF MY CAR WITH YOU, 3 MONTHS AGO, I BOUGHT TOTAL GENUINE, HISTORY MAINTAINED, COMPLETELY PERFECT CIVIC TURBO WITH 58000 KMS DONE,
AND THE CAR WAS DOING GREAT, I GOT ITS FIRST OIL CHANGE AT 61000 KMS (SINCE I HAD LAST OIL CHANGE RECEIPT AT 56000 KMS)WITH 0W20 FULLY SYNTHETIC HAVOLINE. IT WAS OKAY BUT SUDDENLY ONE DAY, I WAS DRIVING IT IN "D" WITH ECO MODE OFF, IT STARTED MISSING, IT FELT LIKE IT GOT LOOSE OR NEUTRAL, THEN AFTER SOME MILLISECONDS OR SO, IT REGAINED ITS ACCELERATION, AND IT WAS OKAY FOR THE NEXT THREE/FOUR DAYS, IT AGAIN DID THE SAME, AND LATER WAS AGAIN ALRIGHT.THEN, AT 63000KMS I GOT ITS CVT OIL REPLACED DROM HONDA, Nnnn
A MONTH LATER I WENT TO MUZAFFARABAD ON IT, THERE IT REACHED ITS MILAGE OF 66000, AND JUST ONCE MISSED , WHICH MEANT THAT IT WAS TIME FOR OIL CHANGE, I WAS SUGGESTED TO USE LIQUIMOLY 0W20 MOLYGEN I BOUGHT IT AND BOUGHT NEW SPARK PLUGS AND AIR FILTER FROM A VERY TRUSTED SUPPLIER OF HONDA PARTS, I REPLACED SPARK PLUGS, AIR FILTER, OIL FILTER, ENGINE OIL, GOT MY CAT CONVERTOR CLEANED AND FUEL FILTER SERVICED, AGAIN FROM A VERY TRUSTED AND PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOP, SINCE THAT DAY, ITS THE 12TH DAY TODAY, THE MISSING HAS GONE WORSE, FROM OCCURING EVERY 6/7 DAYS, IT OCCURS TWICE OR THRICE A DAY, NOW.
I HAVE CONSULTED A COUPLE OF MECHANICS, SOME SAY ITS CVT MIGHT BE FAULTY AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, SOME SAY CVT BELT IS SLIPPING, IT NEEDS REPLACEMENT.
THE MISSING ONLY OCCURS AT LOW RPMS, NEVER EXPERIENCED IT AT HIGHER RPMS.
WHAT COULD BE THE REASON. SORRY FOR THE LONG EXPLANATION
BUT IM EXTREMEY WORRIED.
CAN'T SPEND ANOTHER 1.5 LACS OR SOMETHING ON THE CAR FOR ITS CVT.
POORA SHOQ KHATAM HOGYA TURBO KA.
NEED URGENT HELP
ALREADY GOT ITS RPMS RELEARNING DONE FROM HONDA RING ROAD.
PS: I USE HI OCTANE MOST OF THE TIMES.

brother what I know is,cvt oil was replaced earlier as well, and from Honda, but i misplaced the receipt last owner gave to me, anyhow I didnt remember at what milage it was changed, so I got it replaced by myself and from honda point.

Brother get the car inspected and try changing cvt oil with proper procedures as the workers at honda also do not know the proper method
But what you can do is read the procedure and make sure not all but atleast most of the method in changing cvt oil is implemented

Can you please send a picture of the procedure written in User Manual? Or explain me otherwise?

Brother unfortunately i dont have the owner manual with me right now but i can share you the link for the proper method of changing cvt oil for grande
And as far as i know the basic methods remain the same
Rest @jklodhi can guide you

Since you have travelled to North, fuel quality might be an issue

Or

Coils or plugs might be faulty

Get them checked first from any other workshop. Better to take it to 3S dealership .

First get these done and see results

Im doubting plugs here, since jubse change kiye hain yeh missing bohat kar rahi hai. Uss se pehlay very rarely I experienced anything of this sort.

I replaced everything altogether, replaced spark plugs, Air filter, oil filter, Engine oil (0w20 liquimoly fully synthetic), service of fuel filter and throttle body, And cleaning of Catalytic convertor.

Rohan Bhai maine saara kaam ikatha karaya tha, which includes replacement of Air Filter, Oil Filter, Spark Plugs, Engine Oil (LiquiMoly 0w20 fully synthetic), plus service of Fuel Filter, and cleaning of Catalytic Convertor.
All of the other things just can't result in this much consistent missing, Can they?

Yes ye sochne wali bat ha
Anyways dont go to local mechanics as they have zero idea about the problem and would make assumptions of their own
Go to honda dealership tell them the problem
Have them to do the test drive and hope for the best IA

Brother, i took my car to one of the local mechanics who I knew was good, just to replace these new Spark plugs with the ones that I removed earlier, and after installing them and starting the car, Civic started missing on idle and engine sound and exhaust was showing it, Then he checked each and every coil on which these plugs get attached, One of them wasn't producing any spark, He shook it and it started sparking but in a relatively less speed, So he told me one of the coils isn't working properly and this might be the reason it misses. And I told him to pack them as they are now, I'll replace them tommorow, So hopefully, I think this is the only reason my car does missing.
What do you think?
Moreover, these old spark plugs are still okay to be driven more or less 10k.
