Civic 98 Automatic transmission making whining noise when taking your foot off from accelerator

Dear ,

I am in a need to know the reason behind the fact that why my car makes makes whining sound at certain RPMS when i took my foot off from accelerator?
I have changed the wheel bearing, tyres, checked all other bearings under the hood.I have changed the transmission oil twice went for mobil1 ATF 3.

Few mechanics says there is a problem with your transmission, but few says automatic transmission do not whine.I turned off the car as well to check and the noise still persists.....NEED YOUR OPINION THANKS IN ADVANCE

Checked rear hubs?
Both front wheel bearings changed?

You should try to use Honda ATF in it. It has special additives for honda auto trannys. Never use zic mobil caltex castrol, atf mtf or psf in honda vehicles. Honda auto trannys are very lousy btw.

YES BOTH FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS Changed havent checked the rear hubs bcz sound seems to be coming from the front and disappeared when little bit of gas pedal is pressed

Most probably rear bearings / hubs
Diagnosing front bearings is easy.jack front wheel up n accelerate in gear
Since thats already done check rear with some mechanic with functional brain

got it checked again by the mechanic he is asking me might be the axles which are making noise or it can be your gear....is it safe to repair the the transmission or can it create any issue in future? and who is the best mechanic in the region of islamabad for transmission?
