Hi guys, so this is my first ever post on pakwheels forum.
So last year, I bought a used 2017 Honda Civic Oriel Non-Turbo variant with 41000km on the odometer. The car is now at 42500 km.
This post is regarding an issue that I am facing in my Honda Civic which has been persistent from the first day that, the car will just shut off/ power off while I am driving it and there are just two lights on the cluster, 1. Oil light and 2. Battery light. This does not happen every time but when it starts, it's bad. The car would just shut off while I am in the fast lane or at a signal stop.
At first, I got the tuning done. Then I got the oxygen sensor changed and after that, this problem was gone but after a week, Engine light came and when I checked with my mechanic, the scanner said that knock sensor was at fault, I got the knock sensor replaced and after two days, the same switch off problem returned.
I have tried to find a solution all over the internet but couldn't find anything related to this specific car, google results show that the crankshaft sensor is at fault but I wanted to know if that's the main issue.
The main idea is to ask someone who has faced this issue and has got it fixed from somewhere or is there any expert/ high-level mechanic who can figure this thing in Karachi. Also, if someone knows any place where O2 sensor and knock sensor can be bought and replaced, please let me know.
Pakwheels experts please help a brother out. Buying Honda Civic X was a dream for me and it is now doing work of a nightmare, sadly.
Anyways, Thanks for reading and TIA for the reply, if any
