I need a quick advice from you experts. 2 months ago I serviced the radiator of my civic vti prosmetic 2005 (160k on Odometer). Mechanic told me that it had completed it's life and its weak now. But i settled for service only at that time. There was no leakage in water (not using coolent because it was totally on tap water, that's why didn't took that risk) even in hot afternoon while running ac at max never got the problem of heating. When the weather in karachi is now changed after moonsoon today car suddenly heated up. Poured one bottle of water now needle came below half.
I need advice from you all. As Eid is coming, if i have to replace radiator with new one so i have 1-2 days only. I have 3 options
1) Chinese radiator 4k
2) Honda used one 5k
3) Kabli or japani one 8.5k
Should I go for new radiator than please guide what to check as well and If there is any solution which can save my money do let me know.
If anyone faced the same issue do share your reviews as well.
