Have been driving 2002 civic with stock d16 engine manual for last 15 years - 300,000+ km
Have done engine all over twice
Last all over was done 3 years ago
Recently engine have become weak, oil rising up to sparkplugs and smoke from air intake box and dark smoke from the exhaust
Now looking to buy new engine (head assembly)
Checked Bilal ganj - d16 (Australia) d15 & d17 Japan are available around 90,000 PKR
Can you guys suggest which one ll be better for an average daily drive and with least issue
And what other items to get with the Engine like I read in many other blogs that injections & ecu of possible
Can I have a basic guide?
Actually not satisfied with USTAD MECHANIC who don't even know it's a vtec or not or it LL be synced or not?
They just say just buy a d15 head assembly
I know many LL recommend buying a new car
But don't wanna sell in this condition
Want to sell later without any malfunctions
Looking forward to hear all recommendations also any recommendations for any good mechanic/garage in Lahore
