Civic 2000-1999 Rebuild

I am planning on buying and rebuilding a Civic 1999-2000 Automatic. My total budget is 8lac. Is it enough to rebuild a decent car to its original condition? I have looked around Pakwheel and the prices are jumping from 5lac to 9lac for a Vti Prosmatic. I am thinking nothing less then a bhatti paint not sure how much that is going to cost. It is going to be daily driver not looking for anything too fancy, just a decent looking Honda. I am thinking buy a car worth 6lac and spend the two on the rebuild? Suggestion and thoughts? I have attached some images of what I am going after.

8lac is a very good budget for a full rebuild.

if you are planning for rebuild, buy a busted car.

then get new fenders, bonnets, boot, doors etc. every thing is available.

you can get away with taiwanese back lights, but buy used OEM head lights, taiwanese alignment is somewhat off.

you can do a full interior exterior repaint.

Karachi. 8 lac includes buying the car. So I am guessing I will be left with 2 lac for rebuild

Buy a car with good chasis and documents then build it.

Yes that is the plan. As long as the chasis is undamaged you can build the rest. My concern is the budget. The lowest I have seen a 2000 automatic is like 5.5lac which means I will be left with 2.5lac. As long as I am able to build a stock car with this budget. Bhatti Piant and 16" Rims plus new tyres, I am guessing these two should be done in 1.2 lac. The rest I can use on a new cooling system, Stock wiring and suspension, Engine and transmission. I got a Kia Classic re built last year. I had limited budget so I could only fix the car mechanically. Costed me 1.5lac Just for suspension, complete engine rebuild, new clutch system, fixing all the wiring which was mostly okay. And. new ac cooling system.

I am also thinking with parts being replaced and everything. I should be able to go 20 to 30k above because for some parts they cut some cost if you give them the old part.

Check isb pakwheels what if you could buy an already rebuilt car in 8 lacs ?

Umm I did think of buying a already built car but with every old car that you buy you always need to keep some extra money because most of the cars are not hundred percent they need some work done even though if the seller says no work needed. And you always like to make a few changes also that would cost also. I live in Karachi it is going to cost me to go there check the car and possibly drive it back to Karachi without knowing if the car would breakdown anywhere. You can't rely on the pictures I bought a 2017 Corolla the car looked untouched in the pictures but it had been keyed on almost every panel even though if was with original paint.

approximately 1 month old prices.,

you can get all shock absorbers (tokicko or kyb) and all thailand bushes for under 50k.

DO NOT go for 16 inch rims.

get the stock size that came with this car.

i would recommend 14" only. maximum 15". buy only japanese rims.

You suggest 14 and 15" for a comfortable ride? Or bigger rims with effect the suspension? I was thinking at least 16" because that is the only mod I will have for my car I am a very careful driver waise I hate pothole, I am usually made fun off when it comes to khaday they are like tum uttar k gari ko gaud mai utha k khday pe se guzar dia karo. Thankyou for the feedback my concern only is the cost of what I have look around in Pakwheels I have seen people spending 3-3.5 for a complete restoration.

its impossible to avoid potholes.
you will run into potholes sooner or later.
also bigger rims mean very low profile tyres.

nothing will save your rim getting damaged.

i have used 16" rims on my car, and i did not like the ride at all. for a daily drive its annoying. not to mention the massive price difference between smaller dia tyres and large dia tyres.

you must always remain as close as possible to the factory recommended specs for reliability.

i now use 185/70 r13 on the original steel rims, and use it quite rough without any problems at all.

maximum you should go should be 195 r 14 tyres.

Just don't put body kits on please.
A decent drop and nice set of wheels with rubber are enough to make it look good.

Yeah and don’t write some name or number in italic at the behind or the front of the car, it will steal the look and it will look like a very cheap rebuild. Rims and tires will hold no meaning and the most attention will be on those annoying texts, for God’s sake, those things totally ruin the look of the car.
