I am looking for a car for my family day to day use for errands etc.

basic needs are it should be an automatic. have power steering.
secondary needs which arent necessary are should be efi and should be small in size.

besides there need a viable option for the lowest price possible. which car is filling all the requirements if you could recommend some models that would be great

Swap a 660cc engine and transmission, drive it till it dies.

My friend did a project costed him around 200k++

Full car dent / paint, new interior, engine transmission, meter, power windows and side mirrors.

It needs personal attention in my opinion. You can hand over the project to someone but they will probably get parts at very high price

But if your requirements full fill in just an auto transmission car you don't need power windows etc.

thats 200k for the restoration/conversion right. how much will the car itself cost? any idea?

the requirements of this car is pretty low. coure auto seems a decent option but as far as i know its not efi and old carborators etc is a hassle and since this car would be used by family as in females members of the family don't want to it to be something that has chances of breakdowns.

last choice is used car financing. meezan said can go max 9 year old car. but need under 660cc and locally manufactured and searching on pakwheels i got 0 results. if you can think of any options for financing then let me know those as well

Goto expo centre tomorrow. See if u can find a 2019 Alto AGS in your budget. This should be around 2 million. (Suzuki used car mela)

Else look for a Mira, Alto, Move etc or a 660 Japanese Alto 2000/2004 if budget is a problem.

You can swap a new engine in a Japanese Alto, a local alto transformation to 660 needs slight alterations. But it's doable

A decent local alto can be sourced in rs. 325,000 to 475,000 for 2002/2004 cars. (Iguess).

A Japanese similar alto can cost around 700 to 900k.

That would be automatic and 660 by default. Might need engine replacement if in bad condition since it would be 20 years old.

also any idea if we can engine swap a margalla. my neighbour is selling one. its also a car my family has used before so familiarity will be a good point. if we can swap an efi engine in it then that'll be great.

Yes power steering for alto is a very simple bolt on upgrade.

Margalla can always be upgraded to a G13 Efi Baleno engine.
