the original alternator in your car is 35 amp at best, if you run all the accessories lets do a breakdown.
about 6.5 amps for the headlamps alone
about 3 amps for other lamps
about 20 amps for the ac/condenser fan/ac clutch etc.
about 10 amps for the engine
you may notice that you run out of alternator spec already before your stereo - and then you start killing the battery.
anyway - thats besides the point. because your battery has enough juice to start the engine.
the actual problem in daihatsu charade is the pos cartoon grade wiring that was used, its extremely thin everywhere, including the ground side - heck they even put a ground lug on the plastic timing belt cover.
remove the original starter cable and ground from battery, make new cables with good quality stuff, you need to have them hydraulically punched for good continuity, do not use regular scrap battery terminals, buy good OE ones or similar.
take one cable from the battery negative to the transmission case near the starter, branch this cable out to the body. Get a thinner cable and ground the alternator upper adjusting bar to the shock tower - the bar has a 6mm threaded hole for this (10 ke bolt ka hole) - mechanics/lektrishanns threw this out because "ustaad ne kaha thaa"
make a new battery cable for the positive side.
Do not go to a radiator shop to get a "tezaabi taanka" on the cables as the acid flux they use corrodes the cable internally. You need a mechanically punched cable.
